It is located on the outskirts of the village and is within walking distance of the car park. The spacious grounds are bordered by a stream.

At the end of the 90s, the detached natural stone house was extensively renovated and presents a sophisticated and harmonious appearance, showcasing first-class craftsmanship. A new granite slate roof emphasises the original character of the house. Only environmentally friendly materials were used during the renovation.

The technical facilities are up to current standards. The house has insulating interior plaster and a modern gas central heating system. Two additional wood-burning stoves add to the cosiness.

The ground floor comprises the living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide direct access to the spacious terrace with a pergola.

A gallery leads to the sleeping area on the first floor with a spacious, modern bathroom. The second floor above offers plenty of space to relax. The large panoramic windows provide views of the village and the surrounding mountains.

The house's furnishings are in keeping with the style and no renovation work is required. The house can be taken over with its furniture.

The basement is currently used as a utility room and storage for wood, tools, and garden equipment (can be taken over); connections for conversion into living space are present.

The village of Gurro lies above the Cannobina Valley, beyond the hustle and bustle of the more tourist-driven spots on Lake Maggiore. In the village itself, there are facilities for purchasing all daily necessities, a restaurant/pizzeria, a bar, a museum, and a post office with a bank counter.
